Client Agreement

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your order and date.
• Your remaining balance is due no later than two (2) weeks before your scheduled pickup date.
• Orders placed within two weeks of your event require full payment at the time of booking.
• If the remaining balance is not received by the payment deadline, I reserve the right to cancel the order. Payment reminders will be sent before any cancellation.

• The 50% booking deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances — it covers the time and planning reserved for your order.
• If you need to cancel at least two (2) weeks before your event, any amount paid beyond the initial 50% deposit may be refunded, minus a $25 cancellation processing fee.
• Alternatively, that remaining balance can be applied as a store credit toward a future order, subject to availability — no $25 fee required for this option.
• All store credits must be redeemed within 12 months of the original event date.

⚠️ Example: A $200 order with $100 already paid as a deposit — if cancelled 2+ weeks out, you'd receive a refund of up to $75 (the remaining $100 paid, minus the $25 fee), or a full $100 store credit.

• Requests to change your event date must be made at least one (1) month in advance.
• I'll do my best to accommodate date changes, but availability for a new date cannot be guaranteed.

• All design details — colors, themes, flavors, and any special requests — are discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking.
• Once your order is confirmed and your deposit is received, significant changes to the design or order details may incur additional fees, depending on the nature and timing of the change.
• Minor adjustments can often be accommodated — just reach out as soon as possible if something comes up.

• Responsibility for your order transfers to you at pickup. The NB Bakery cannot be held liable for damage or mishandling after that point.
• Care instructions will be provided with every order to help you keep your treats fresh and beautiful until your event.

💡 Please plan your transport accordingly — especially for tiered cakes or warm-weather pickups!

• You are responsible for disclosing all allergies and dietary restrictions at the time of booking. Please do not assume any item is safe without asking first.
• While every effort is made to accommodate dietary needs, The NB Bakery is a home kitchen that handles common allergens including nuts, dairy, eggs, and gluten. Cross-contamination cannot be fully guaranteed.

• In the rare event that I am unable to fulfill your order due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond my control, a full refund of all payments made will be issued.
• I will notify you as soon as possible and do my best to help find a solution or alternative.

• The NB Bakery reserves the right to photograph completed orders for use in marketing, social media, and portfolio materials.
• If you prefer your order not be shared publicly, just let me know at booking — I'm happy to keep it private.
